Deprecated
Legacy access tokens have been deprecated and will be disabled in the near future. Please refer to the main authentication article for directions on utilizing our OAuth 2.0 implementation.
You can generate these access tokens in Ironclad by clicking on your user profile dropdown at the top right-hand corner > selecting “Company Settings” > selecting the “API” tab on the left sidebar > and selecting the "Access Tokens" tab on the top.
Permissions
Only users with the API configuration permission have the ability to generate legacy access tokens. See your internal company's admin if you need to be added to a group with these permissions.
After generating a token, you will provided a token secret that you should save in a secure location as it will not be displayed again. You can use this in the Authorization header to authenticate your requests.
